The Fluid Systems Division designs and manufactures robust shut-off and modulating fuel/hydraulic actuators with double-acting piston assemblies for both aerospace and industrial applications.
We vary the electrical controls signals to electrohydraulic servo valves （EHSVs） to control actuation times and ensure precise piston locations and valve vane angle. If the ambient temperatures and vibration are too extreme for EHSV operation, our EHSV can be remoy located.
In the 1980s, we pioneered the use of fuel actuation to improve engine fuel consumption using modulating turbine clearance control butterfly valves. We also offer manual lockout mechanisms and visual position indication.
